Essential Functions:
As a Radiology Nurse, you will perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. You will also document patient care given, monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Additionally, you will assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. You will collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. You will evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. You will work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Education: Associate's Degree Nursing (ADN). Bachelor's Degree Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Required Skills: Licenses: Registered Nurse, KY. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
