The estimated salary for this part-time position ranges from $50 to $55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Physical Therapist to work around 12 hours per week at our program in Walpole. The successful candidate will administer physical therapy services to students in accordance with their current Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized IEP goals in consultation with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Administer manual and non-manual exercises, physical activities, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living skills to help students achieve their IEP objectives.
  • Collect and record data on student progress and provide regular feedback to classroom staff to inform quarterly progress reports.
  • Collaborate with classroom staff to develop and implement strategies to support students' physical therapy needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in annual reviews as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues by using effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in physical therapy.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in physical therapy.
  • Current registration and licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Safety Care, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Rigorous background checks, including nationwide fingerprint screening.
