About the Role

We are partnering with a leading Testing, Inspection and Certifications company to find an exceptional Strategic Business Development Professional for their Houston, TX office. This exciting opportunity will allow you to join a dynamic team with high visibility to senior executives and contribute to the growth of the business.

As a Strategic Business Development Professional, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, conducting financial and operational due diligence, and providing strategic recommendations to drive business growth. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping the company expand its scope and achieve its goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modeling: Develop complex financial models to analyze various operating scenarios and perform in-depth fundamental, financial, and operational due diligence on new business development opportunities.
  • M&A Analysis: Conduct valuation and financial analyses, including M&A, DCF, project financing, trading comparable, precedent transactions, pro-forma projections, and LBO analyses to evaluate potential development projects, acquisition targets, and other corporate development and investment opportunities.
  • Deal Execution: Assist in day-to-day deal and project execution, ensuring timely and successful completion of projects.
  • Market Research: Analyze market trends and conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years in Investment Banking: Proven experience in investment banking, with a strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.
  • Industrials Experience: Previous experience within industrials, certifications, inspections, or certification services is highly desirable.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Houston, TX.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
