Job Title: Composite Materials Technical Consultant

Energetics, a leading U.S. energy and management consultancy, is seeking a skilled Composite Materials Technical Consultant to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with expertise in composite materials development and excellent communication skills. As a Composite Materials Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in the development and deployment of clean energy technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement R&D project management principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
  • Support program objectives through task management, analysis, and R&D planning, reporting, inter-team, and external relations.
  • Develop summary reports to clients, documenting results from DOE-sponsored events and R&D efforts.
  • Engage across a project portfolio to understand a work effort's objectives and suggest improvements based on outcomes.
  • Manage and serve as a point of contact for external engagement with industry, academic, and other project partners.
Requirements
  • Engineering or Science degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience (2-3 years with a master's or Ph.D. degree) including internships.
  • Experience with composite materials development and/or manufacturing, including characterization and modeling.
  • Interest in manufacturing, decarbonization, and/or clean energy technologies.
Preferred Requirements
  • Material scientist or engineer with relevant composite materials development experience for clean energy technology applications.
  • Master's or PhD degrees in science or engineering.
  • Experience with developing program strategies or roadmaps for RD&D programs.
  • Experience in government consulting, supporting government organizations, public-private partnerships, or stakeholder engagement.
What We Offer
