Job Overview

AmeriPharma, a Harper's Pharmacy Company, is seeking a highly skilled Home Health Administrator to oversee the non-clinical aspects of our Specialty Home Infusion Pharmacy. This role requires experience in managing non-clinical staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Manage non-clinical staff, including coaching, mentoring, hiring, reprimanding, promoting, and terminating employees as necessary.
  • Resource Optimization: Maximize the use of company nurse subcontractors over nursing agencies or outside home health agencies.
  • Policy and Procedure Facilitation: Facilitate the development and implementation of nursing department policies and procedures in compliance with regulations applicable to home health services and various accreditations.
  • Forecasting and Demand Management: Anticipate and meet the demands of a rapidly growing department by assessing staffing needs, resource allocation, and forecasting future requirements.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Create and analyze relevant reports that allow the nursing department to operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with internal staff and outsourced nursing agencies.
  • Strategic Decision Making: Make data-driven decisions aligned with the executive vision for the nursing department.
Requirements
  • Experience: Significant experience in managing non-clinical staff, preferably in a Home Health Care or Home Infusion Pharmacy environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, providing coaching, mentoring, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with regulations relevant to home health services and accreditations pertaining to the nursing department.
  • Resource Optimization: Experience in maximizing the utilization of company nurse subcontractors and sourcing cost-effective staffing solutions.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in creating and analyzing reports to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
