Medical Transportation Services Job Description


As a medical transportation specialist with Safe Dependable Care Med Transportation, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services to elderly patients in need of medical assistance. Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to delivering exceptional care and comfort to our clients.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients to and from medical appointments, including dialysis treatments, doctor visits, and hospital discharges.
  • Assist patients with mobility issues by using wheelchair lifts and other equipment as needed.
  • Ensure patient safety at all times by adhering to strict protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain communication with headquarters to report any changes or updates to patient schedules.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients and their families to provide personalized care and support.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • CPR certification and training on wheelchair securement and passenger safety.
  • Ability to read and interpret maps and navigate through unfamiliar areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Estimated Salary:

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
