Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tugger Operator to join our team at DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES MFG LP. As a Tugger Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a Tugger in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Tugger safely and effectively in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Process factory transfers and material movements with accuracy and efficiency
  • Handle materials in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company safety protocols
  • Utilize WMS and scanning equipment to track and manage inventory
  • Learn and apply PKMS and WMS systems to optimize material movement and storage
  • Work productively with minimal supervision, meeting expectations for safety, quality, and on-time delivery
  • Develop strong computer skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping
  • Collaborate with team members to promote a safe and efficient work environment
Requirements
  • 0-1 years of experience as an industrial tugger operator
  • Experience working in a large-scale manufacturing environment is preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; 16 hours of tugger in-house training and certification is mandatory
Work Environment

This role requires working in a high-volume manufacturing environment with forklift traffic and potential noise exposure. Hearing protection and PPE are required. The successful candidate must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
