">We are seeking a seasoned Control Systems Engineering Team Lead IV Specialist to join our team at Cameron LNG LLC in Hackberry, LA. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to lead a high-performing team and drive process control system engineering excellence.
Job Summary:
- Lead Control Systems Engineering Team: Direct reports will be responsible for delivering DCS systems and control engineering services that meet and exceed terminal goals.
- Safety Integrity Level Expertise: Demonstrated mastery in safety instrumented system and emergency shutdown system expertise.
- Process Control System Engineering: Develop business plans and budgets for the facility, collaborating with other teams to achieve organizational goals.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Technical Authority: Retain technical authority related to safety barriers implementation in distributed control systems (DCS), stand-alone PLCs, emergency shutdown system (ESD) / safety instrumented system (SIS) activities, and fire and gas system (FGS).
- Team Competence Management: Ensure team members complete mandatory training requirements in a timely manner, generating staff development programs and managing team competence.
- OT/IT Security: Maintain OT/IT security for control systems, developing processes to meet relevant standards using risk-based assessments.
- KPI Development: Develop KPIs in areas of alarm management, DCS controller performance, SIS & FGS regulatory compliance, cyber security for OT, ESR & MOC status, and track/report progress.
- Budget Management: Participate in business plan and budget development cycle, manage budget through monthly forecasting process.
- Team Initiatives: Oversee team initiatives, develop schedules, make commitments, routine follow-up, and assist team members to overcome barriers.
- Delivery Oversight: Manage delivery of own team's ESRs and MOCs, prioritize using risk-based methods, review progress, and assist in solutions.
- Process Review: Regularly review own processes, ensuring simplicity, provide feedback on site processes, and enhance delivery of organizational goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with other teams to understand issues, take initiative to enhance delivery of organizational goals.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering required (Electrical, Electronic or Chemical discipline preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 20 years of direct DCS experience required; minimum 4+ years of experience in a similar position of responsibility and expertise in an operating LNG Liquefaction facility preferred.
- Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Familiar/expert-level knowledge of IEC61508, IEC61511, IEC62443 standards, basic computer skills, project management, database, Microsoft Office, leadership, planning, organization, communication, problem-solving, self-motivation, teamwork, and cultural diversity awareness.
Salary: The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 based on national averages and industry standards.
