The Scope of Responsibility
- You will be instrumental in developing and executing business development strategies that drive revenue growth and foster strong relationships with civilian agencies.
- Leading cross-functional teams to identify and capture new business opportunities while nurturing existing partnerships.
- Spearheading market initiatives, including customer engagement, opportunity shaping, bid/proposal execution, demos/presentations, and establishing client contact plans.
- Identifying potential partnerships and negotiating agreements to support new business prospects.
Taking Ownership of Results
- Pursuing independent development of new business prospects and driving major strategic wins.
- Developing marketing campaign plans tailored to civilian agencies, incorporating themes for tradeshows, conferences, publications, and more.
- Providing accurate and timely long-term forecasting of business performance.
Your Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a proven track record in business development for federal sales.
- Ability to pass a Criminal Justice Information Service (CJIS) background check and maintain CJIS clearance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development for federal sales, with emphasis on opportunity capture management and proposal development.
- Familiarity with Salesforce as a CRM platform.
- Extensive knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and government budgeting processes.

- Competitive salary ranging from $161,000 to $200,000 based on location, plus uncapped commissions with an average target of $350,000 annually.
