Faculty Radiochemist

We are seeking a highly qualified Faculty Radiochemist to join our team at the University of California, San Francisco. The successful candidate will be appointed at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the In-Residence or Adjunct series, depending on qualifications and interests.
Key Responsibilities- Develop an independent research program in radiopharmaceutical chemistry, with a focus on the radiosynthesis of new radiopharmaceutical agents.
- Collaborate with faculty within the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging and other departments at UCSF to advance the development of new molecular imaging agents.
- Conduct research and teach residents, fellows, medical students, and masters students.
- Interact with basic scientists and clinical researchers in planning, conducting, and evaluating data.
- PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree in Chemistry, Radiochemistry, Bioengineering, or a related field.
- Postgraduate or postdoctoral training and research experience since obtaining their PhD, preferably at least two years combined.
- Current and/or pending qualifications upon submission.
