We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Leadership Professional to join our team at Saz's Catering Inc.

Job Overview:
This leadership position involves overseeing shifts of culinary staff members, managing labor and food production, and maintaining profitability. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and other senior team members to develop and implement strategies for menu development, inventory management, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily team meetings and department meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment with company goals.
- Schedule staff according to production and service needs, monitor labor costs, and maintain accurate timekeeping records.
- Supervise and discipline kitchen personnel as needed, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback to improve overall performance.
- Develop and execute training plans for new and existing employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the implementation of health and safety protocols, including HACCP procedures, sanitation routines, and internal health inspections.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other culinary leaders to create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ordering, recipe development, and menu creation.
- Manage inventory levels, track usage, and compare estimates to actual consumption to optimize food costs and profitability.
- Develop seasonal menus, specials, and catering options in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
- Prepare and execute business event orders (BEOs) according to customer requests.
- Maintain consistent production and presentation standards across all menu items.
- Exhibit expertise in advanced kitchen terminology, knife skills, and cooking techniques.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on equipment, report repair needs to the Executive Chef, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess 3+ years of experience in a similar culinary management position, preferably with a degree in culinary arts or a related field. ServeSafe certification is mandatory, and a valid driver's license is required.
