Our team of experts works closely with school administrators to understand their needs and provide tailored support to ensure student success.Job DescriptionAs a Behavior Intervention Specialist, you will work closely with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting assessments to identify student needs and develop BIPs tailored to their requirements.
  • Providing direct support and consultation to teachers and staff on behavioral strategies and techniques.
  • Monitoring student progress and making data-driven decisions to adjust BIPs as necessary.
  • Training and mentoring school staff on behavior management techniques and the implementation of BIPs.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
  • Participating in IEP meetings and providing input on behavior goals and strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress reports.
  • Staying current on best practices and developments in the field of applied behavior analysis.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Current BCBA certification.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational atmosphere.
