Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Technician to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems, including server room equipment and UPS units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload trucks, inventory equipment, and stage items for installation.
  • Position and install UPS units, PDU units, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Route and connect server room cables, blue power cables, and install circuit breakers.
  • Perform rack connections and disk deployments as specified.
  • Install and maintain mechanical systems such as air conditioning ductwork, high bay ducting, and GPS antennas.
  • Handle electrical tasks including UPS power-up, circuit breaker installation, and electrical lockout/tagout.
  • Complete system integrations including IOS desk configurations, EPO systems, and power verification.
  • Install and configure network components and perform system checks.
  • Mark equipment positions on the floor, complete debriefing tasks, and provide detailed reports on installation progress and issues.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in installation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical system installation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with cabling, circuit breakers, and power systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and lockout/tagout practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with server room equipment and UPS systems.
  • Knowledge of rack connection standards and disk deployment processes.
  • Certification in electrical systems or related fields.
Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance, and you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week schedule.
