Assistant Meat/Seafood Manager Job Description

At Sprouts Farmers Market, we're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Meat/Seafood Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting the Meat and Seafood Manager in leading a team of professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in Managing the Meat and Seafood Department: Work closely with the Meat and Seafood Manager to develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Lead a High-Performing Team: Supervise and train a team of Meat and Seafood associates to ensure excellent customer service and efficient department operations.
  • Ordering and Inventory Management: Assist in ordering and inventory management to ensure optimal product availability and minimize waste.
  • Merchandising and Visual Displays: Collaborate with the Meat and Seafood Manager to create visually appealing and effective merchandising displays to drive sales.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control: Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain high-quality products to meet customer expectations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 Years of Experience: Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Meat and Seafood department, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and supervision skills to lead a team of professionals.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and management.
  • Basic Math Skills: Basic math skills to accurately manage inventory and process transactions.
