As a Nurse Specialist in Medical/Surgical Care at Sh Sagewest Health Care, you will play a vital role in providing direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. This position requires exceptional communication skills, as you will consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications accurately and safely, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Educate patients on surgical procedures, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Record medical information and vital signs, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Monitor specialized equipment, identifying any issues or malfunctions that may impact patient care.
  • Initiate corrective action when necessary, ensuring prompt resolution of patient concerns.
  • Provide bedside care for medical patients, delivering compassionate and respectful care.
  • Develop and initiate patient education plans, helping patients navigate their treatment and recovery.
  • Perform various tasks, including changing dressings, inserting catheters, starting IVs, and preparing equipment for physician treatment.
Requirements
  • A valid WY RN license is required for this position.
  • Must use the specified template to be considered for the role.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $**$80,000-$120,000**. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
