Key Responsibilities:- Patient Interaction: Ensure a welcoming atmosphere, address patient concerns, and provide timely responses.
- Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments to maximize audiologists' time while meeting patient needs.
- Patient Records: Maintain accurate, confidential records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Insurance Verification: Confirm coverage, obtain necessary authorizations, and assist with billing inquiries.
- Pre-Visit Preparation: Collect necessary documents and information for smooth appointments.
- Patient Education: Inform patients about hearing aid options and treatment plans as directed by the audiologist.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
