Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Database Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our DMLSS database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data, and providing training to work order clerks, supervisors, and management staff as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Correct and input data into the DMLSS database.
  • Verify recorded information to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Update files and records in the DMLSS database, create backup files.
  • Operate computers and office equipment.
  • Generate and distribute various reports and data.
  • Attend staff meetings to provide status updates on the DMLSS database.
  • Provide on-going training to work order clerks, supervisors, and management on DMLSS as needed.
  • Assist management staff as needed in regards to a wide range of administration duties.
Requirements
  • Must be able to pass background check and required Government security clearances.
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Must possess experience with database and spreadsheet application such as Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Software.
  • Ability to handle assignments to completion, which may require resolving problems, and correcting errors on a timely manner.
  • Ability to work alone or in a team environment.
  • Able to safeguard sensitive and confidential information and follow HIPPA guidelines.
  • Demonstrates problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to utilize available resources efficiently.
Work Environment

The work environment is a typical office setting. Physical demands include intermittent sitting, standing, and walking, and occasional bending, reaching, and lifting. Limited exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc. but generally not to the point of being disagreeable.
