**Job Summary**

At Timmons Group, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Survey Party Chief to lead our survey operations team. This is a dynamic role that requires a strong background in surveying, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**

  • Direct and coordinate the daily activities of the survey team to ensure timely and accurate completion of field surveys
  • Supervise and train survey instrument operators to ensure they're equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to collect high-quality survey data
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma/GED and at least five years of experience in surveying
  • Experience with Leica Robotic Total Stations, data collectors, and GPS preferred
  • DOT transportation surveying experience a plus
  • Ability to collect field data in a neat and organized manner
  • PLS/SI certification preferred but not required
