**Estimated Salary:** $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Job Description:

As a Nursing Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to provide direct patient care and support. Your responsibilities may include taking vital signs, assisting with daily living activities, and performing various housekeeping tasks. You will also have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possession of or ability to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities during the probationary period.
  • One year of satisfactory full-time experience in the provision of simple treatment and other patient care services under professional supervision.

Prior to start date, the selected candidate must meet the following requirements: successfully complete pre-employment physical examination and obtain medical clearance from Stony Brook Medicine's Employee Health Services; complete electronic reference check with a minimum of three (3) professional references; and successfully complete a 4-panel drug screen.
