About the Job:

As a Marketing Account Executive, you will serve as a consultative point of contact for clients, identifying and understanding their needs and providing recommendations with supporting rationale. This role requires strong leadership skills, service orientation, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive business relationships with clients, market contacts, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Efforts: Assist producers in sales efforts, including responding to requests for proposals, participating in prospect meetings, and selling additional lines and endorsements that enhance coverage and meet client needs.
  • Mid-Year Reviews and Annual Stewardship Meetings: Direct and lead these critical reviews and meetings to ensure optimal results.
  • Client and Carrier Relationships: Build and maintain key client and carrier relationships through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Marketplace Knowledge: Develop a working knowledge of the current marketplace and capabilities of providing alternatives for risk transfer.
  • LOB Strategy and Initiatives: Coordinate and work closely with local and national leadership to drive LOB strategy and initiatives, promoting best practices and driving utilization.
  • Negotiation and Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong negotiation skills, analyzing client information, proposal competitiveness, and resolving client, market, and employee relations problems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: A degree or equivalent education and/or related experience is required.
  • Insurance Industry Experience: Six years of relevant insurance industry experience is necessary.
  • Appropriate Insurance License(s): Possession of appropriate insurance license(s) is essential.
  • Leadership and Organizational Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills are required to plan and prioritize team workload and oversee application of work flows and procedures.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build and maintain positive business relationships with clients, market contacts, and colleagues.
  • Persuasion and Discretion: Strong persuasion skills and discretion are required to analyze client information, propose competitiveness, and resolve client, market, and employee relations problems.
