Mechanical Superintendent

The Mechanical Superintendent is responsible for the daily operation of a job site, including scheduling, production, procurement of materials, manpower, equipment, quality, and safety. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain project schedules and reports to accurately describe project status.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontracted work forces for construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective field operations.
- Review project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives on a regular basis.
- Implement and enforce safety standards and requirements on the job site.
- Direct and analyze manpower, material, and equipment requirements for commercial fit-outs.
- Enforce policies, procedures, and work rules as established by field construction management.
- Prepare reports and forecasts as required, and keep supervisors informed on project progress.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of field experience in commercial projects, preferably with high-end amenities experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering required.
- Experience in supervisory roles, such as General Foreman, Project Engineer, or Assistant Superintendent.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and team work skills.
