Project Manager II

Cordoba Corporation is a leading civil engineering firm based in California, specializing in education and facilities, transportation, water, and energy sectors. We are seeking a Project Manager II to support the Education & Facilities Sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project scope, budgets, and schedules
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and address project challenges
  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects, from planning and development to execution
  • Develop and control project scope, budgets, and schedules
  • Review and coordinate the preparation of construction documents
  • Run the day-to-day management aspects of projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Facilitate project team and client meetings
  • Negotiate and prepare change orders
  • Monitor and coordinate construction activities with various project stakeholders
  • Respond effectively to project issues and challenges
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of project management and concurrent field construction experience
  • Licensed professional or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
  • Education background in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Work experience in project planning and development
  • Ability to independently manage all aspects of a project
  • Ability to develop and control project scope, budgets, and schedules
  • Ability to review and coordinate the preparation of construction documents
  • Ability to effectively facilitate project team and client meetings
  • Ability to negotiate and prepare change orders
  • Ability to monitor and coordinate construction activities with various project stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Design-Bid-Build project delivery
  • Job Order Contracting (JOC) project delivery
  • Knowledge of Public Contracting Code and practices
  • Knowledge of LEED
  • Experience and knowledge in medical/healthcare/behavioral health facility design and construction
