Principal Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team at Kiewit Corporation. As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in the success of planning, organizing, and implementing project engineering and project controls tasks.

• Assist in the interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations by taking measurements and determining percentage of completed/installed materials and work.
• Assist in the preparation of work plans and work packages.
• Participate in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, and safety training.
• Order and schedule material deliveries.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate work groups on the jobsite.

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field of engineering or equivalent experience and education.
• At least 2 years of field and/or office engineering experience within the construction industry.
• Experience working on heavy civil infrastructure projects highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction project management systems.
• Leadership and management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
