About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with acute and chronic complaints related to pediatrics. You will obtain complete histories, perform pertinent physical exams, and assess normal and abnormal findings on new patients.

You will also order and furnish medications according to established procedures and acquire counter-signature on prescriptions from the supervising physician for medications not included in the approved formulary. Additionally, you will initiate arrangements for hospital admissions and discharges and complete appropriate paperwork.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in the State of Georgia and current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification by a nationally accredited organization (e.g., American Academy of Nurse Practitioners - AANP, American Nurses Credentialing Center - ANCC, Certification or The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or any successor organization).
  • Current Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course completion card.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
  • Experience in working in a community health center is desirable but a high level of interest in community medicine is acceptable in lieu of experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience. In addition to a salary, you will also receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
