Bone Marrow Transplant Advanced Practice Provider

The Rush University Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled Bone Marrow Transplant Advanced Practice Provider to join their team. As a key member of the healthcare team, the successful candidate will provide high-quality, comprehensive care to patients undergoing bone marrow transplants.



Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.


Requirements:

  • Current State of Illinois Physician Assistant Licensure.
  • Current Certification from National Certification Commission for Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Degree from an ARC-PA (or predecessor) accredited PA Program.
  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Licensure.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner Certification from a national certifying organization.
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing.
  • BLS certification.
