Database Software Developer Job Description

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Database Software Developer to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative software solutions to further enhance the performance, availability, and durability of Amazon Aurora.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and functionalities within Aurora.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in database technologies and PostgreSQL developments.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
