Heavy Equipment Technician Specialist

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Maintenance and Repair - Perform routine maintenance on all types of mobile heavy equipment.
• Troubleshooting and Diagnosis - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Tier IV Interim and Tier IV Final engine complaints.
• Hydraulic Systems Repair - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various types of mobile equipment hydraulic systems.
• Electrical Systems Repair - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair basic DC electrical systems.

Qualifications/Skills:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• Technical Knowledge - Technical or Associates in Diesel Engine Repair or Automotive Technician Diploma.
• Experience - Prior experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Electrical and Hydraulic Systems - Knowledge of DC electrical troubleshooting process and operation, basic hydraulic system structure, function, and operation.
• Diesel Engine Knowledge - Knowledge of basic diesel engine operation and aftertreatment structure, function, and operation.
• Excellent Communication Skills - Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently, have the desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative, and possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner.
