Job Summary

CFD Research Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to play a pivotal role in the design, development, and integration of complex systems for our customers. In this role, you will support both rapid prototyping and detailed hardware development, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and support all aspects of systems engineering from requirements development to verification and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements decomposition and development of integration, verification, and functional check-out plans
  • Functional and physical system modeling, as well as coordination with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges
  • Assistance in developing and implementing Model-Based System Engineering processes, guidelines, and tools
  • Use of analytical tools to validate system performance to design requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience in applying systems engineering processes and principles
  • Experience/domain knowledge of system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation
  • Development of technical documentation
  • Current Department of Defense Security Clearance or capable of obtaining

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with MBSE tools and processes (e.g., Catia No Magic)
  • Comfortable working in a prototyping environment
  • Working knowledge of functional and instrumentation diagrams
  • Experience modeling or simulating systems
  • Experience with the coordination and conducting of design review activities
