About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Granite Edvance. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring our systems for potential cybersecurity threats, conducting regular security assessments, and implementing measures to mitigate risks and enhance our information security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor systems for potential cybersecurity threats
  • Conduct regular security assessments
  • Implement measures to mitigate risks and enhance information security posture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proactive approach to cybersecurity
  • Establish and maintain security protocols
  • Respond to security incidents promptly
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies

Requirements:

  • Strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Experience in security engineering within a cloud-native or heavily cloud-focused environment
  • Ability to analyze complex information, think critically, work independently, communicate security-related concepts clearly, and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels
  • Proficiency in Identity and Access Management (IAM), including SSO, PAM, and Cloud Identity
  • Working knowledge of a compliance framework such as NIST CSF, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 and certifications such as incident handler, SSCP, CCSP, or CISSP
