Job Summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Long Term Care team. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing individualized nursing care to residents, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality nursing practice and patient outcomes.
• Manage nursing staff and delegate tasks effectively.
• Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive care to residents, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge, adhering to age and population-specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting.
• Provide preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment to residents, coordinating care and resident assessment as needed.

Qualifications
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring, or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
