Compensation
A competitive salary of $62,000 per year is offered, along with mileage reimbursement and flexible scheduling opportunities.
Job Summary
This role involves working as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide rehabilitative care to patients under the guidance of a Physical Therapist. Key responsibilities include assessing muscle strength, mobility, gait, and range of motion; providing direct physical therapy treatment; instructing patients and caregivers on therapeutic device use; and reporting patient progress to physicians.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this position, candidates should possess a graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program, hold a valid state license, and have at least one year of experience in home healthcare or a related field. Current CPR/BLS certification and reliable transportation are also essential.
