Post Surgical Nursing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Post Surgical team at Williamson Health, located in Franklin, Tennessee.
About the RoleThe Registered Nurse will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and planning patient care in a timely and accurate manner. This role requires a nursing diploma or degree, a valid license in Tennessee, and various certifications based on the specific unit, demonstrating a commitment to patient-centered care and professional development.
This is a full-time opportunity working days with a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Responsibilities- Performs comprehensive assessments on all patients within the appropriate time of admission, utilizing skills of observation, communication, and examination.
- Plans individualized patient care, identifying problems/needs, nursing diagnosis, standards of care/practice, interventions consistent with identified problems, and attainable outcomes.
- Prepares, administers, and handles medications safely, following hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Documents accurately and timely, reassessing patient condition, evaluating response, and modifying plans accordingly.
- Accepts charge responsibilities, assigning staff with consideration of patient condition and care requirements.
- Nursing diploma or degree from a college or university.
- Valid license in the State of Tennessee.
- Variety of certifications based on specific unit (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC).
