Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our finance team. As an Administrative Assistant - Financial Operations, you will be responsible for assisting the accounting supervisor with general processing of mail, checks, invoices, and other office tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
- Process all incoming/outgoing mail and parcels
- Provide excellent customer service to field units and vendors
- Ensure all donations are properly counted and transmitted to AR Accountants
- Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Scan all checks for deposit and donor data center processing
- Process payments, scan and upload invoices to Accounts Payable program
- Make bank deposits
- Assist with filing and other office duties
- Assist with audit requests
- Provide assistance and support for Accounting Supervisor
- Assist field units with essential finance systems training
Working Conditions:
This role requires the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. You must also be able to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead. Lifting up to 25 lbs is also required. Saturday work and additional hours may be necessary.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; an AA degree or above is preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years of office experience preferred

- Advanced computer skills: Windows, MS Excel; able to enter data with speed and accuracy
- A clean driving record and a valid California driver's license are required
