About the Role:
Kontoor Brands is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Designer to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for the technical development of our products, from pattern-making to finalization of sampling development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the technical development of products, ensuring that all specifications are met and timelines are adhered to.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of new products and improve existing ones.
- Develop and maintain technical packages, ensuring that they meet or exceed pre-determined gross margin and price targets.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including product development teams, production partners, and vendors.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying new skills and knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in apparel manufacturing, with a strong understanding of pattern development, technical product development processes, and systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of E2E product manufacturing processes, with a preference for experience in Jeanswear Bottoms or Tops product.
- Self-driven individual with a strong attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High proficiency in systems, including SAP, Illustrator, and MS Office applications.
