Business Systems Analyst

Location:
Charlestown, MA - 100% Remote, but prefer candidates open to hybrid on-site

Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst with at least 5+ years of experience and strong Healthcare domain experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, listening, oral and written communication skills, as well as analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to details. They will be able to interact effectively with people at all levels, understand IT environment, applications, and architecture, and have preferable health care and claims process application experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support IT goals and objectives by working closely with Project Managers, IT Managers, and business stakeholders to ensure application development and implementation meets business requirements.
  • Work with internal and external off-site Project Managers, Technical Designers and Developers, and other key stakeholders to identify and document requirements and use cases in a manner that is accurate and meaningful to business and IT professionals.
  • Facilitate IT and business use case walk-thru sessions.
  • Mentor less experienced Business Systems Analysts; review use case documentation and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Perfict Global, Inc.'s business practices and the applications/systems that support them.
  • Work with IT and business users to evaluate options and recommend solutions in line with IT and/or business architecture.
  • Develop reusable templates and maintain Business Systems Analyst methodology.
  • Prepare documentation using tools such as Visio, Word and Excel.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years of work experience as a Business System Analyst, Business Analyst, or equivalent experience.
  • Healthcare/Insurance experience preferred.
  • General understanding of claims operations (adjudication and processing) preferred.
  • Experience in writing Function requirement Specification (FRS) / Functional Specification document (FSD) from the Business Requirement Document (BRD)
  • SQL Experience preferred.
