About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team as a Patient Care Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with patients and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality physical therapy services.

Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist at LHC Group, your primary responsibility will be to assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status, mobility, endurance, pain, and other medical conditions. Based on this assessment, you will work with the physician to develop a personalized therapy plan of care and implement interventions aimed at improving the patient's well-being.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Evaluating patient functional status and physical therapy needs, assisting the physician in developing the therapy plan of care.
  • Observing and reporting patient response to treatment and any changes in condition to the supervising nurse and/or physician.
  • Treating patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and maintain maximum functioning using accepted standards of practice.
  • Instructing and informing participating members of the healthcare team, patient, and family/caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals.

Benefits and Qualifications
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and location. Additionally, we provide continuing education and tuition reimbursement opportunities, independence and autonomy, and career growth possibilities.

Education and Experience Requirements
To qualify for this position, you must have current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice, Current CPR certification, and access to a dependable vehicle. A driver's license and vehicle insurance are also required.
