Deputy Sheriff

Madison County, AL is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Sheriff to join our team. As a Deputy Sheriff, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, protecting the public, and upholding the laws of the land.

• Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order.
• Conduct investigations and gather evidence to solve crimes.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share information and resources.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years old and a U.S. citizen.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the Madison County Commission's risk underwriters.
• Must pass a background check and physical examination.
