Administrative Legal Specialist

PEAC Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Legal/Compliance Department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team of paralegals and collectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed records, including correspondence, pleadings, and data entry.
- Assist with the preparation of settlement agreements, addendums to contracts, and legal letters.
- Coordinate the production of documents for subpoenas and discovery responses.
- Process departmental mail and review invoices for approval.
- Meet with outside counsel to review cases prior to court appearances.
- Assist with state licensing and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track departmental data.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the team.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a legal environment or recovery collections.
- Self-driven and results-oriented individual with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid schedule to accommodate departmental coverage needs.
- Associates degree and/or Paralegal Certificate a plus but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to learn and retain job-related information.
- PC proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel required.
