Job Summary

PEAC Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Legal/Compliance Department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team of paralegals and collectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed records, including correspondence, pleadings, and data entry.
  • Assist with the preparation of settlement agreements, addendums to contracts, and legal letters.
  • Coordinate the production of documents for subpoenas and discovery responses.
  • Process departmental mail and review invoices for approval.
  • Meet with outside counsel to review cases prior to court appearances.
  • Assist with state licensing and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track departmental data.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the team.

Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a legal environment or recovery collections.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented individual with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid schedule to accommodate departmental coverage needs.
  • Associates degree and/or Paralegal Certificate a plus but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to learn and retain job-related information.
  • PC proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel required.
