Quality Assurance Analyst II

FIS Management Services, LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst II in Jacksonville, FL to establish and implement quality assurance and compliance processes for IT.

As a key member of the IT team, you will work closely with IT leaders to develop and implement overall quality maturity roadmap and plan for each IT functional area.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing internal IT service quality control standards, policies, and procedures
  • Developing, publishing, and implementing software quality assurance plans
  • Consulting with development, testing, and production teams to develop, publish, and implement software quality assurance plans
  • Reviewing progress toward software quality assurance plans regularly with IT leadership, technical teams, and internal customers to make modifications as necessary
  • Monitoring, evaluating, managing, and executing audit processes to ensure compliance
  • Coordinating and facilitating quality assurance activities across projects with project managers
  • Providing guidance and subject matter expertise to IT teams on quality assurance methodologies and processes and educating them on their responsibilities/accountabilities to achieve on-time and quality deliverables
  • Making recommendations and directing improvements to the software development lifecycle process
  • Documenting non-compliance to policies, processes, and standards and assisting in resolution
  • Analyzing and identifying trends in IT performance metrics
  • Designing, monitoring, and analyzing performance metrics program for quality improvement initiatives
  • Conducting audits and analyzing findings to develop appropriate corrective action recommendations
  • Providing training on established processes and policies

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation
  • Implementing financial services industry practices, regulations, and processes
  • Working with end-to-end systems lifecycle development methodologies
  • Utilizing quality management and improvement methodologies including Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, and Software Engineering Institute - Capability Maturity Model (SEI-CMM)
  • Working with quality management methods, tools, and technologies
  • Utilizing programming languages including Java and JavaScript
  • Working with Cypress test automation framework
  • Performing API testing including manual with Postman and automated with RestAssured
  • Performing data manipulation with SQL, JDBC, and IBM_DB
  • Implementing performance testing with JMeter
