Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Lead to join our team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading and mentoring nursing staff, and promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care as an RN, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Oversee the nursing and clinical team, managing patient flow processes and promoting wellness, improved outcomes, and self-care among a defined patient population.
  • Support and educate patients with chronic conditions, helping them prevent and maintain their health.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, executive leaders, and other stakeholders to implement patient care plans and improve clinical outcomes.
  • Act as a resource and support to nursing staff, promoting their personal and professional development.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an associate degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing.
  • Valid Arkansas RN License.
  • Minimum of One (1) year of Registered Nursing experience or 2 years LPN clinical experience.
  • BLS (CPR) Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • RN with a minimum of Three (3) year of RN experience.
  • One (1) year of clinic or ambulatory setting experience.
  • Charge nurse and/or leadership experience.
