Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' medical, physical and psychological status.
- Develop treatment plans individualized to the patient's needs.
- Implement physician directed treatment plans, write orders for medications, treatments, tests, and provide patient care.
- Dispense medication as dictated by the supervising physician.
- Provide education and training to clinical staff in the offices.
Requirements:
Education:
• Bachelors Degree required for Physician Assistant, Masters or Doctorate Degree in Nursing for Nurse Practitioner.
Experience:
• Prefer minimum of 3 years work experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
Certifications/Licenses:
• Current SC PA licensure for Physician Assistant, Current unrestricted SC Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license with Prescriptive Authority for Nurse Practitioner.
