Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Airline Account Manager to join our team. As an Airline Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing our relationships with airline customers, ensuring their success with our in-flight WiFi solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for airline customers, understanding their needs and requirements for our in-flight WiFi solutions.
- Lead the day-to-day customer relationship, working closely with airline teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support of our solutions.
- Manage the delivery of our in-flight WiFi solutions from concept to installation, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Develop and deliver on key strategic and revenue growth objectives, working closely with leadership to drive business results.
- Manage a cross-functional team of engineers, developers, and operations staff to deliver customer programs.
- Develop and maintain project management results, including implementation plans, project schedules, budgets, and issue logs.
- Build and grow relationships with airline functional areas to establish a trusted advisor position.
- Proactively lead, find solutions, and de-escalate issues both internally and externally.
- Take full P&L responsibility, with monthly reporting to the Segment President.
- Negotiate customer service agreements, amendments, change orders, pricing, and other contractual terms.
Requirements
- 5+ years of customer-facing Account Management and Program Management experience in a technological organization.
- Proven Program Management skills, with the ability to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically when implementing products and solving problems.
- Proficient in MS Office, including MS Project.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally.
What Will Help You on the Job
- Previous airline or OEM experience.
- Software and hardware development oversight experience.
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
- MBA strongly preferred.
Salary Range
$156,272.70 annually.
