Assembly and Fulfillment Specialist

Goodwill Industries of Central Texas is seeking a skilled Assembly and Fulfillment Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming packages from plasma labs, ensuring accurate and efficient disassembly and rebuilding of plasma coolers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload trailers from plasma centers, maintaining a high level of attention to detail to prevent damage to materials, equipment, and facilities.
- Understand and implement established procedures for sanitizing coolers and gel packs, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Accurately configure outgoing coolers, shrink wrapped on pallets, and maintain a high level of organization to maximize efficiency.
- Complete required paperwork, including manifest, inventory levels, quality control logs, and dispatch records, with a high degree of accuracy.
- Communicate any discrepancies or defects to the Area Manager, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accountability of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper use while on duty.
- Count and record incoming and outgoing cooler shippers, gel packs, supplies, and unusable items, posting totals to inventory records using a computer.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative relationship with management, peers, and customers, embodying the values of Goodwill Industries of Central Texas.
Requirements:
- Flexible and adaptable, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English, with basic computer skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times, with frequent standing, walking, and balancing.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack, with a high level of physical stamina and endurance.
