Salary and BenefitsThe salary range for this position is $27.84-$45.46 per hour, commensurate with previous work experience. Job DescriptionThe Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist plays a vital role in the innovative cardiovascular program by preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and providing care while maintaining a sterile environment. This position requires completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program and certifications such as ARRT or RCIS, along with experience in a procedural area and maintaining BLS and ACLS certifications.
The specialist emphasizes teamwork with cardiologists and staff to ensure high-quality patient care in state-of-the-art facilities. Responsibilities include preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, and establishing and maintaining a sterile environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
- Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
- Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred.
- Education: Completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
- Experience: Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
