About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of $85,000 - $110,000.

Job Summary:

The Automation Specialist will be responsible for the field commissioning of building automation systems, working closely with customers to ensure seamless project delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems using advanced Direct Digital Control technology.
  • Serve as local contact for technical issues and provide leadership in the field.
  • Offer effective solutions for increasingly complex system issues.
  • Provide turnkey project delivery on small to medium projects.
  • Ensure that systems operate properly, including controls, sensors, and software.
  • Loading software, configuring trends, alarms, and reports.
  • Implement time management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate and document project status and details to customers.
  • Provide site-specific training to owners/operators on the complete system.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or a related technical field.
  • Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.
  • Valid and current Driver's License and insurable by the company's insurance.
