Job SummaryThis Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist position involves preparing and operating equipment for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and maintaining a sterile environment. You will work collaboratively with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists to provide expert patient care and participate in precepting new staff members. The ideal candidate will possess relevant certifications and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Responsibilities- Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and assess patient condition, preparing and positioning patients for care.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, contributing to their training and development.
- Participate in downtime activities, such as stocking rooms and checking equipment, as delegated by the Charge person or manager.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Possession of Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred.
- One year of experience working in a cath lab setting, preferably in cardiovascular procedures.

- $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
