About the Role:

SolarEdge is a global leader in high-performance smart energy technology, with a diverse product offering that includes intelligent solar inverters, battery storage, backup systems, EV charging, and complete home energy management ecosystems.

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our new SolarEdge Manufacturing Team in Austin, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting and implementing ongoing reliability lab testing and failure analysis, as well as related reports and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and implement ongoing reliability lab testing and failure analysis.
  • Prepare products for analysis and testing.
  • Improve and implement procedures of new test methods.
  • Manage priorities and meet deadlines for performing FA, laboratory tests, and documenting them.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of working as a FA and/or Reliability Technician in failure analysis and reliability laboratories.
  • Proven experience in all areas of failure analysis, group testing, and certification activities.
  • Knowledge of environmental testing standards.
  • Familiar with Manufacturing processes technologies and testing methods for PCBA and TLA.
  • Self-motivated and task-oriented for Quality improvement of the manufacturers.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with a variety of interfaces in the company.
  • Train and work with CM engineers and technicians.

Preferred:

  • Additional education or certification in Electronics Engineering.
  • Quality Certification.
