Job Description

This position offers a unique opportunity to provide non-medical support to U.S. military service members and their families as they navigate important life adjustments while serving their country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide face-to-face counseling to military service members and their families, utilizing solution-focused approaches to address challenges before they become greater issues.
  • Observe, participate, and engage in activities with service members, spouses, and families; offer coaching, guidance, and support to installation staff, modeling effective behavior management techniques.
  • Offer presentations to service members, military families, and leadership at events that foster connections and support.
  • Promote creativity and positivity through approved materials, building rapport with parents and families by attending installation and community events.

Requirements:
  • A Master's degree or higher in the Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD).
  • A valid independent license in the mental health field from any US state or territory (LCSW, MHC, MFT, LPCC, Psychologist).
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • The ability to pass a basic background check for employment, a Child National Agency Check, and Inquiries clearance.
