About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Manager to join our team at Hawaiian Airlines. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize operational goals and manage maintenance functions to ensure the integrity of the airline operation.
  • Work closely with materials and supply to ensure the availability of parts required for maintenance.
  • Manage daily communications with Shop Leads and Staff to ensure effective collaboration and coordination.
  • Oversee the repair, overhaul, or modification of aircraft parts/components, ensuring timely and accurate return to service.
  • Manage maintenance personnel, providing coaching and guidance to ensure all work is performed in accordance with FAA & HA specifications.
  • Oversight of training requirements to ensure personnel are properly trained, qualified, and authorized for their assigned duties.
  • Assist in the creation of SOPs and enforce them to ensure safe, repeatable, and consistent work habits within the department workforce.
  • Ensure tracking of Ultipro and oversight on vacation/work schedules.
  • Ensure the workplace meets all safety and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Work with other departments to accomplish the mission and maintain TRAX compliance.
  • Oversee assigned department budgets and monitor expenses, providing monthly variance reports.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of management or leadership experience.
  • Airframe and Powerplant license.
  • Experience in overseeing budgets and vendor management.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Valid state driver's license and ability to obtain a ramp license.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible shifts.
