Job Title: Residential Program Manager

Job Summary:

The Residential Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a team to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of Direct Support Professionals to ensure the delivery of quality services and support to individuals with disabilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual supported.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and agency policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to individuals with disabilities.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of agency funds.
  • Provide training and support to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in providing care and support to individuals with disabilities.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care and support provided to individuals with disabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as human services, social work, or psychology.
  • Supervisory experience in a residential setting, preferably with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
